Executive Creative Director
Our client is a creative agency who specializes in social-first marketing strategies that connect brands with their audiences in meaningful ways! They are looking for a dedicated Executive Creative Director to lead their dynamic creative team in their Atlanta (GA) office! You’ll oversee a talented roster of designers, art directors, photographers, videographers, writers, editors, and motion specialists, empowering them to deliver unparalleled creative solutions for our clients.
Location: Atlanta, Georgia
Work Model: Hybrid – 2-3 days onsite required
Salary Expectations: $200k – 250k, DOE
Requirements for the Executive Creative Director:
- Foster a creative culture that empowers team members, encourages innovative thinking, and supports professional growth.
- Strategically plan and execute creative directions that align with long-term goals, ensuring the organization remains at the forefront of industry trends.
- Enhance ideation and strengthen relationships across all departments, ensuring a cohesive and innovative approach to client and internal projects.
- Play a crucial role in developing the next generation of creative leaders, guiding them through mentorship and hands-on leadership.
- Collaborate with the strategy team and utilize in-depth insights to translate strategic directions and briefs into creative solutions that surpass client expectations and achieve high-caliber results.
- Champion a culture of curiosity and innovation, staying ahead of industry trends and integrating emerging technologies (e.g., Gen AI) into creative strategies.
- Work alongside the Growth Team to support business development efforts, including concepting and pitching.
Qualifications for the Executive Creative Director:
- 10+ years in a creative leadership role, with significant leadership experience in agency settings or with large brands, specifically focusing on digital, social media, and earned media (PR).
- Demonstrative ability for strategic thinking, visual design, and storytelling capabilities.
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of inspiring teams, selling creative concepts persuasively, and maintaining high-level client relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to lead by example, foster a positive work environment, and encourage a culture of innovation and collaboration.
- Expertise in branding, marketing, and advertising, with a track record of applying strategic insights to achieve impactful creative outcomes.
- Proven track record of working in an integrated way with other departments like strategy, business development, account teams or project management.
- A robust, award-winning portfolio is preferred!
- Working proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite.
- Understanding of Generative AI Tools.
- Experience with Basecamp is a plus!
