Working out of the Portland office, Roy joined the Motus team in 2018 in order to connect people with technology. He has been in the staffing industry for 10 years, with over 15 years of experience in business development and recruiting for IT and engineering. As a Technical Recruiter, he sources and places engineering and IT professionals, utilizing many different methods including reaching out to the passive market, participating in user group events, and engaging with Fortune 500 clients for contract, contract to hire, and permanent positions on a national level. Roy has a passion for helping clients solve business problems with technology. “I enjoy the fact that every day is different and navigating the challenges of finding top technical talent.”
When he’s not helping people find new opportunities, Roy likes exploring Oregon (hiking and visiting the Coast), reading, watching Ducks and Blazers games, organic cooking, console gaming, and enjoying The Arts.
