As a senior technology recruiter, Shannon has 22 years of experience in the recruiting industry, including corporate, agency, and owning her own recruiting consulting company. She works with companies to help them find the right people for their organization at all levels. This includes looking not only at a person’s technical skill set, but the soft skills as well. Shannon’s unofficial title is Recruiting Consultant and Talent Engagement Advisor, because she enjoys finding talent for executive level opportunities as well as helping companies build their teams. “Simply put, I love helping people and providing solutions. The best feeling at the end of the day is to see someone happy at their job and the company happy with their employees.”
Shannon is a self-proclaimed “total ENFP” and thrives on the happy energy of other people and seeing them being successful! One change in the hiring process she would like to see is more detailed and complete job duties written out so candidates will better know the role they will be in and what is expected of them day-to-day. Shannon thinks the encouraged relationship building, family-oriented environment, and the way we look out for the best interests of others is what sets Motus apart from other firms.
When she’s not helping candidates and clients, Shannon enjoys volunteering at her church and spending time with her son and their dog. She also likes biking, swimming, reading, cooking, baking, and spending time with her family and friends.
