Our client, a trusted Oregon-based utility provider, is seeking a Tree Maintenance Work Order Specialist to support critical vegetation management and maintenance programs. In this role, you will create highly detailed work orders for tree crews, coordinate with internal and external partners, and manage a high volume of data across multiple platforms. Responsibilities of the Tree Maintenance Work Order Specialist:
- Create detailed work orders for tree maintenance crews, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and compliance.
- Research and gather information by navigating multiple applications and platforms, including GSI mapping tools.
- Coordinate with customers, contractors, and internal teams to support vegetation-related inquiries and maintain consistent communication.
- Monitor and respond to updates across various inboxes and team communication channels.
- Review and process documentation related to vegetation management and field operations.
- Support process improvements, reporting, and cross-functional initiatives as needed.
Qualifications of the Tree Maintenance Work Order Specialist:
- Bachelor’s degree in forestry, environmental science, natural resources, communications, or related field preferred, but not required; relevant experience accepted.
- At least 2 years of work order coordination experience in vegetation management, utility operations, construction, maintenance, or regulatory environments.
- Strong ability to work within multiple systems, perform research, and manage large amounts of information.
- Highly organized, self-directed, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with scheduling, maintenance, or work order software (Maximo or Quickbase helpful but not required).
- GIS mapping experience is a significant plus.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-service-focused approach.
