This role will work closely with the Operational Innovation, Engineering, and Product teams. The Operational Innovation team is responsible for ensuring Customer Operations can adapt at pace with rapid evolution in products while ensuring the establishment of the foundational tools, capabilities, and processes that will support long-term growth and evolution of Operations. Through a combination of tools and technology vision, continuous improvement excellence, and in-the-weeds operational know-how, this team nurtures the foundation on which all our operational teams build. The team is comprised of tooling experts, workflow innovators and support planners who build the bridges between Customer Operations and a rapidly moving Product development process.
In sum, you’ll be translating business requirements articulated by operational teams into user stories that can be understood and built by the Engineering and Product teams. We're looking for innovative candidates who can tie multiple threads together and who are passionate about organization and process. This role requires high levels of technical and non-technical communication and will also analyze workflows, procedures, and tools to identify areas where they can be made more sustainable and scalable. Additionally, you will be contributing to the company's strategic conversations around how to better leverage the Salesforce platform and improve the scalability of our operations. In this capacity, you’ll be partnering with front-line operational staff to understand current states and leaders across Customer Operations to enable the future of our operations. You'll work as a liaison between the business and technology teams, and understand the Salesforce platform sufficiently to structure user stories in a manner that balances business requirements with technical complexity to drive smart allocation of limited engineering resources. More specifically, you'll be facilitating the improvement of existing team-specific and cross-functional workflows using Salesforce and the creation of new business processes and guiding operational teams towards solutions based on an understanding of their needs and the capabilities of the platform. You will serve as the subject matter expert around the technical capabilities on the Salesforce platform; contributing to cross-functional strategic discussions around how to better leverage Salesforce within the company and conducting and leading User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new enhancements will be included in your responsibilities.
- 5 years experience as a business analyst supporting operational processes
- Experience with Salesforce user stories and process flows; Lightning Service Cloud preferred
- Prior hands-on experience implementing or enhancing the Salesforce platform for a service/call center
- Certified Salesforce Admin preferred, but not required.
- Process mapping experience & current state/future state documentation
