Senior Business Systems Analyst
Our client, a leading Pacific Northwest utility provider committed to public service and environmental preservation, is looking for a Sr Business Systems Analyst for their Portland, Oregon location. In this role, you will provide business analysis, business systems analysis, and basic project management support with an emphasis on reviewing business processes to find operational effectiveness and efficiency gains. In addition, this position will also facilitate the design, development, testing and implementation of internal SharePoint sites that will support business processes.

Key Responsibilities for Senior Business Systems Analyst:
- Facilitate requirements gathering sessions using standard tools and approaches.
- Develop solution and implementation proposals.
- Solution build and implementation.
- SharePoint site design, development, and maintenance.
- Project Coordination/Support.
- Employ basic project management guidance and assistance for project development as assigned.
- Create and draft change management plans and user guides to implement new processes for review, finalization, and approval by the manager/team lead.
Requirements/Qualifications for Senior Business Systems Analyst
- With a bachelor’s degree in applicable fields, 8 years of experience is required.
- With an associate degree in applicable fields, 10 years of experience is required.
- Without an applicable degree, 12 years of experience is required.
- Proficient Experience in project management/coordination, business systems analysis, operations analysis and/or process improvement.
- Proficient level knowledge with data governance and business process management principles.
- Proficiency in data analytic and reporting tools such as Power BI.
- Expert level experience with Microsoft Office Suite, such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Expert level experience with Access databases.
- Proficient experience with Visio sufficient to create process diagrams and organizational charts.
- Expert level experience is required with SharePoint to:
- Develop SharePoint pages including development of forms, calendars, and agendas.
- Develop and recommend record retention strategies.
- Develop SharePoint workflow processes.
- Develop SharePoint lists and views and manage permissions as required.
- Assign permission, tasks, and alerts across a variety of users and user stories.
- Translate business requirements into proposed recommendations for deployment in SharePoint.
- Provide status and project reporting utilizing SharePoint and SharePoint lists.
- Develop and/or maintain reporting and tracking tools utilizing SharePoint.
