The Chief Diversity Officer will be responsible for developing and communicating the diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging business plan with executive stakeholders, setting short- and long-term DEI goals, building and developing a world-class DEI program, and driving continuous improvement to achieve all DEI goals.

POSITION OVERVIEW FOR THE CHIEF DIVERSITY OFFICER:
The Chief Diversity Officer will be responsible for developing and communicating the diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging business plan with executive stakeholders, setting short- and long-term DEI goals, building and developing a world-class DEI program, and driving continuous improvement to achieve all DEI goals.
- The Chief Diversity Officer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and leading a company-wide strategy to improve DEI activities and programs including: Developing, implementing, and overseeing programs and tools that attract and onboard diverse talent.
- Ensuring an end-to-end inclusive recruiting, screening, hiring, and onboarding experience across the multiple Divisions and sites within PCC.
- Developing and overseeing programs to provide retention of and advancement of current diverse employees to higher levels of leadership within PCC.
- Working with all levels of the organization to ensure PCC’s belief and expectation that all employees are valued and respected and have a conducive place to work and thrive.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE CHIEF DIVERSITY OFFICER:
- Develop and implement specific company-wide diversity strategies, objectives, and business plans to align inclusion initiatives with business strategies and metrics focusing on the workforce.
- Facilitate opportunities for training to enhance recruitment, hiring, promotion, and retention of diverse employees, and provide support to employees with diverse experiences and backgrounds.
- Maintain knowledge of current and emerging developments/trends assess the organizational impact, and collaborate with the leadership team to incorporate new trends and developments in current and future strategies.
- Coach and guide the various Employee Resource Groups and PCC’s Inclusion Councils ensuring that these entities provide support and a meaningful impact on our employees and businesses.
- Coordinate with the Communications Department to create an on-line presence that authentically reflects PCC’s DEI commitments and programs.
- Identify, develop, and foster relationships with relevant external stakeholders to specifically drive all DEI goals.
- Develop strategies to monitor and evaluate the impact and benefits of DEI initiatives.
- Report on program effectiveness and make recommendations for enhancement and improvement.
- Support all affirmative action plans, goals, and outcomes while educating business unit leaders on all affirmative action goals and expectations, including diversity representation and fair compensation practices.
- Up to 75% travel to PCC locations for the specific purpose of educating the stakeholders and workforce as to PCC’s commitment to its DEI initiative.
KEY ATTRIBUTES AND SKILLS OF THE CHIEF DIVERSITY OFFICER:
- Highly organized individual with strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated individual who can work independently as well as work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to meaningfully listen and gauge how to effectively promote PCC’s DEI goals.
- Able to thrive in an environment that requires cross-functional interaction.
- Demonstrated attention-to-detail.
- Thorough understanding of current EEO guidelines.
EDUCATION AND TRAINING OF THE CHIEF DIVERSITY OFFICER:
- Advanced Degree required, Graduate-level education in Diversity and Inclusion, or a related field is preferred.
- 7 years of experience in Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong familiarity and understanding of matters related to DEI, specifically including EEO federal and state guidelines as well as practical knowledge to move the Company’s DEI effort to the next level.
- Experience developing and incorporating initiatives, such as mentoring programs, and organization-wide diversity training all with the goal of elevating PCC’s DEI efforts Company-wide.
