As the Director of the Water Resources Department, you will be at the forefront of addressing critical water challenges, working alongside a dedicated team to ensure a sustainable and equitable water future for all Oregonians.
ABOUT THE DIRECTOR
The Director provides overall leadership for the agency and is responsible for all programs, operations, and administrative functions. The ideal candidate evaluates results in relation to the mission and makes changes and adjustments as appropriate. The Director represents the Department and the State of Oregon in negotiations regarding statewide and interstate water use issues, with federal officials, and other local, state, and industry officials. The Director also represents the Department to the Oregon legislature.
