They run robotics programs, year around programming, summer camps, residential camps, middle school camps, and workshops for Youth. They are currently seeking an Administrative Assistant / Office Manager for their Portland, Oregon location. This position will function onsite in their office at the Lloyd Center. - Location: Portland, OR (Lloyd Center)
- Salary: 52K - 60K DOE.
- The ideal candidate will be available to work 40 hours per week between the hours of 9:00am – 7:00pm.
- Input financial data into spreadsheets for bookkeeping with CPA.
- Handle administrative duties for the Executive Director, like managing calendars and expenses.
- Uphold professionalism, customer service, and efficiency.
- Build relationships with stakeholders (staff, Board members, community partners).
- Manage inventory and purchase office supplies.
- Run organizational errands and attend events as needed.
- Communicate with donors, staff, and partners via email and mail.
- Prepare materials for Board meetings and take minutes.
- Help with event coordination.
- Create various documents and reports using software.
- Review and distribute incoming documents.
- Assist with social media and newsletters.
- Assist with staff training logistics.
- Support in managing staff timecards and payments.
Requirements/Qualifications for Admin Assistant / Office Manager:
- Associate's Degree, or Bachelor's Degree preferred. Equivalent education and/or experience may be considered.
- 3+ years of experience as an EA or Administrative Assistant, preferably in a nonprofit environment, supporting senior-level management / Board of Directors.
- 3+ years of experience with: Adobe, MS Office, Zoom.
- Bilingual in Spanish highly preferred.
- Written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Display strong time management and organizational skills.
- Experience working in a diverse and inclusive environment with an equity value.
