Caregiver Relations Consultant II
Our client, a leader in the healthcare industry, is looking for a remote Caregiver Relations Consultant II. In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to core leaders and caregivers, providing expert guidance on complex employee relations issues, investigations, and conflict resolution. This role ensures the consistent application of HR policies, legal compliance, and best practices while fostering positive workplace relationships and enhancing organizational effectiveness. Pay Range: $44.02 – $73.40 DOE
Location: Fully Remote
Contract Duration: 6+ Months
Key Responsibilities for Caregiver Relations Consultant II:
- Serve as a trusted resource for Core Leaders and Caregivers on employee relations matters, providing content and subject-matter expertise.
- Ensure consistent and best practices in employee and labor relations, adherence to HR policies, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide consultation to core leaders on complex investigations, recommending corrective actions and discipline.
- Identify and escalate highly complex or Title VII-related circumstances to senior HR consultants.
- Assist in problem resolution between core leaders and caregivers, managing risk, and deploying best practices in employee relations.
- Advocate for fair and appropriate workplace practices aligned with mission, values, and legal parameters.
- Lead challenging conversations and interactions.
- Promote and utilize HR technology, metrics, and systems for business needs.
- Maintain accurate and timely case management using the ServiceNow system for data compliance and integrity.
- Work collaboratively with various HR functions and legal counsel.
- Demonstrate service excellence and positive interpersonal relations to maximize productivity and service delivery.
- Respond to complex questions, conduct research, and escalate issues as appropriate.
- Provide advice to core leaders on HR policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Lead small projects and provide ER consulting expertise on projects.
- Maintain HR metrics and dashboards, reporting findings to align HR actions with data trends.
- Act as a trusted advisor during significant moments throughout the employment life-cycle, providing personalized and effective experiences.
- Manage and resolve employee relations concerns and investigations promptly and effectively.
- Ensure all cases follow policy and comply with applicable laws.
- Maintain a professional working relationship with all levels of the organization.
- Provide advanced level escalation support for department leaders and caregivers.
- Maintain a balance between caregiver and core leader relationships.
Requirements/Qualifications for Caregiver Relations Consultant II:
- 5-7 years of experience with employee relations/investigations required.
- Demonstrates extensive knowledge of employee relations principles, Federal and State employment laws, organizational policies, and collective bargaining agreements.
- Experience with multi-state HR is a huge plus, particularly: Alaska, California, Montana, New Mexico, Oregon, Texas, and Washington.
- Demonstrates strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Demonstrates the ability to listen for key messages/themes, identifying all sides of issues.
- Demonstrates knowledge of and adherence to confidentiality policies in accordance with State and Federal laws.
- Uses critical thinking and strategic methodology to develop innovative service delivery solutions.
- Demonstrates extensive knowledge and application of all compliance and legal requirements.
- Able to effectively educate and influence caregivers and leaders.
