Carla is Motus’ extraordinary Controller and is known affectionately as “The Cleaner” for her ability to untangle and fix any accounting mess. With 20 years of experience in a controller capacity, Carla is an expert at streamlining procedures, ensuring all areas of accounting are precise and deadlines are met. After spending over 30 years of experience managing accounting in the construction industry, Carla made the jump to recruiting because of the daily positive energy and overly appreciative environment at Motus.

Outside of work, Carla enjoys traveling, home renovations, photography, and spending time with her daughters and grandson. When asked what inspires her, she said, “My daughters inspire me. They have chosen opposite directions in life and are extremely successful with their chosen paths.” Carla’s top three podcasts are The Daily by the New York Times, The Michelle Obama Podcast, and You and Me Both with Hillary Clinton.
