With close to two decades of experience, Motus’ Executive Search Recruiting Associate Keela Tillery is a self-described “Queen Connector.” She began her recruiting career in the military with the Oregon Air National Guard where she spent 12 years recruiting and retaining airmen into the best-kept secret in the military. Before retiring from the military, Keela continued her recruiting work at a small business designed to help individuals plan and obtain their careers in employment or business development.

In addition to recruiting, Keela has extensive experience in designing and implementing comprehensive Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion training for senior leadership that helps drive DEI strategies and provides tools to ensure an inclusive and highly engaged environment addressing disparities within the workplace. Keela sits on the board for HOLLA Mentors/School, which is a mentorship organization that connects with families, administrators, teachers, and nonprofits to recognize the power and potential of Black and Brown youth.

Family is everything to Keela—so outside of work, she is spending time with her husband Derrick, their three kiddos, and their boxer Prince. She is also a creative at heart who loves throwing parties and enjoys traveling to wherever the sun is shining!
