Monica came to Motus with 13 years of experience in Admin & Finance support in the staffing industry. She was a “Jill of all trades” in many back-office roles such as office coordination, payroll, accounts receivables & payables, and new hire onboarding.

Outside of work, she loves traveling, crafting, podcasts, and outdoor activities like hiking, camping, fishing, and geocaching. She loves the fact that her husband, 2 dogs, and 2 cats, keep her home life fulfilled and chaotic. Fun Fact: In her younger years, she worked a summer in Yellowstone National Park at Lake Lodge & the Old Faithful Inn, and another summer in Sitka, Alaska for a fishing charter. Both of which reflect her favorite quote: “Not all those who wander are lost.” She has a bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design from Portland State University.

What does she think sets Motus apart? She really values the culture of inclusion and diversity that Motus represents. The impact that staffing can have on a person’s life really makes her feel like we are making a difference in the community. Employment can be a large part of someone’s identity and purpose in life, and she feels privileged to be able to contribute.
