Our client, an energy supplier and community leader, is looking for a driven Legal Specialist to join their team! This role supports corporate governance, legal documentation, and compliance processes across two public companies. Ideal candidates may have honed their skills in a law firm or corporate setting, with expertise in corporate, securities, or finance work. Location: Portland, Oregon – HYBRID – 3-days per week onsite
Pay: $31.00 – 41.61 hr., DOE

Responsibilities of the Legal Specialist:
- Administer and upload Board meeting materials on platforms such as Diligent or similar.
- Manage corporate filings, including business licenses, corporate organizations, and foreign qualifications.
- Document and maintain records of Board meetings and other corporate matters.
- Perform special projects and assignments as needed with high attention to detail.
- Proofread and prepare precise documents, exhibiting top-notch writing skills.
- Bachelor’s degree or paralegal program preferred; strong corporate paralegal experience required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint; knowledge of Excel and SharePoint is beneficial.
- Exceptional communication skills, with an emphasis on clear, professional writing.
- Independent, highly motivated, and adaptable to shifting priorities.
- Experience with due diligence and regulatory filings; ability to quickly assimilate new information.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to maintain professional relationships across all organizational levels and work closely with senior management, vendors, and external legal counsel.
- Flexible to manage varied workloads and multiple projects while maintaining productivity and responsiveness.
