Motus Recruiting and Staffing is partnering with Relay Resources to find an Abil-IT Program Manager to oversee the implementation and management of the Abil-IT Training Program. This role coordinates program activities, manages a small team, collaborates with partners, and ensures program objectives are effectively achieved. The Abil-IT Program Manager oversees logistics and organization, emphasizing the initiation and management of new projects.

Motus Recruiting and Staffing is partnering with Relay Resources to find an Abil-IT Program Manager to oversee the implementation and management of the Abil-IT Training Program. This role coordinates program activities, manages a small team, collaborates with partners, and ensures program objectives are effectively achieved. The Abil-IT Program Manager oversees logistics and organization, emphasizing the initiation and management of new projects.
Ideal candidates will bring strong project management and supervisory experience, keen attention to detail, independence, and comfort navigating both tech and education industries. Focused on logistics rather than curriculum development, this position provides early-career professionals a unique opportunity to lead a program that equips students for IT careers and delivers measurable outcomes. This role bridges the tech and education sectors, supporting students in training for IT fundamentals and cybersecurity, earning certifications, and securing entry-level positions such as help desk and IT support roles.

Salary: $75K - 85K DOE
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Develop and implement start-up of the program 35%
- Put together project plan with milestones, tasks and timelines
- Collaborate with internal and external partners
- Facilitate regular meetings with project team and advisory partners
- Collaborate and consult with external partners, including Melwood, the Department of Education and other stakeholders
- Select, manage and develop direct reports
- Manage budget
- Allocate resources effectively and efficiently
- Ensure compliance with all program requirements and maintain high standards of program delivery
- Develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and assign individual goals to each team member
- Provide regular reporting and program results
- Supervises team of 3-5 direct reports.
- Including a skilled IT Instructor, a Professional Development Instructor, and an Employment Coordinator.
- The manager tracks and reports key program metrics to ensure goals are met.
- 5 years’ experience in program management
- BA degree in Education, Business Administration or related field of study; Masters preferred
- Strong connection with disability; experience with neurodiversity preferred
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Experience with data analysis, evaluation and reporting
- Proficiency in using project management software (Asana) and tools
