Our client, a leading Pacific Northwest utility provider committed to public service and environmental stewardship, is seeking a Business Analyst to join their Internal Operations team in Vancouver, Washington. This full-time contract role focuses on driving change management, process improvement, and program implementation across cross-functional initiatives. The Business Analyst will support operational excellence by developing tools and reporting, facilitating training, and guiding the adoption of new processes and technologies. Collaborating with technical teams, leadership, and other stakeholders, this role ensures initiatives deliver consistent and predictable outcomes while enhancing efficiency and effectiveness across the organization.
This position is a one-year renewable contract that includes employee benefits!
Pay Range: $55.00 - $57.25/hr. DOE
Location: Vancouver, WA. (HYBRID)

Key Responsibilities of Change Management:
- Collaborate with internal technical and business teams to support and recommend change management activities for projects.
- Facilitate teams in problem-solving and identifying improvement opportunities using industry methodologies.
- Gather and analyze stakeholder, end-user, and customer requirements to inform project and change initiatives.
- Research, evaluate, and recommend process or solution options, including associated impacts, risks, and mitigation strategies.
- Provide guidance to leadership on change management best practices, including sponsorship, training, communication, and adoption strategies.
- Develop, implement, and monitor change management plans, processes, procedures, and tools to ensure successful project adoption.
- Assess effectiveness of change initiatives and recommend improvements to maximize organizational benefits.
- Collaborate with other change management professionals to share best practices and coordinate cross-functional initiatives.
- Support development of communication strategies, multi-year project plans, and organizational alignment tools.
- Document and maintain project information, including processes, workflows, business requirements, and implementation plans.
- Facilitate sessions to map current and future state processes, analyze data, and provide actionable recommendations.
- Engage employees at all levels to promote buy-in, adoption, and satisfaction with organizational changes.
Requirements of Change Management:
- 8+ years with a Bachelor’s, 10 years with an Associate’s, or 12 years without a relevant degree.
- Strong knowledge of change management principles and methodologies, including how individuals and organizations navigate change.
- Experience supporting large-scale organizational change initiatives.
- Proficiency with project and change management approaches, tools, and phases of the project lifecycle.
- Familiarity with process mapping and flow diagrams, including use of Visio.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Project, and SharePoint.
- Experience with structured change management methodologies, such as Prosci, preferred.
