Our client, a leading Pacific Northwest utility provider committed to public service and environmental preservation, is looking for an Administrative Services Assistant with experience in providing administrative support for programs, projects and overall office functions for their Vancouver, Washington location. This person provides a wide variety of professional and confidential administrative/clerical tasks as well as data entry and tracking.
This position is a one-year renewable contract that includes employee benefits
Pay Range: $32.00 - $35.00/hr. DOE
Location: Vancouver, WA. (ONSITE)

Key Responsibilities for Administrative Services Assistant:
- Provide confidential administrative support to managers and staff, serving as a primary point of contact for visitors, calls, and routine inquiries.
- Draft, edit, and format correspondence, reports, and presentations; maintain spreadsheets, tracking tools, and SharePoint sites.
- Review and process incoming/outgoing communications, track action items, and ensure timely follow-up and policy compliance.
- Manage complex calendars; coordinate meetings, travel, logistics, agendas, and materials; record and distribute meeting minutes as needed.
- Prepare and track personnel actions, performance documentation, training requirements, onboarding/offboarding, and employee records.
- Process travel authorizations, expense reports, and reimbursements in compliance with established policies.
- Reconcile time and attendance records, maintain leave calendars, and support timekeeping processes.
- Serve as liaison to HR, IT, facilities, security, and other departments to coordinate operational needs.
- Maintain records and official files (electronic and physical), ensuring compliance with governance and retention requirements.
Requirements for Administrative Services Assistant:
- 6 years of demonstrated administrative/clerical experience is required.
- 4+ years’ experience with: SharePoint, MS Office
