Program Support Specialist 2 (ONSITE - Vancouver, WA.)
Our client is seeking an Administrative Program Coordinator to provide confidential administrative and program support to a small strategy and oversight team responsible for internal purchasing and payment programs. This role helps manage and track micro-purchase accounts and transactions, assist with reconciliations and audits, prepare reports and presentations, and support documentation, training materials, and internal knowledge resources. The position also serves as a point of support for internal teams by answering questions, helping maintain program procedures and policies, and assisting with ongoing program administration.
This position is a one-year renewable contract that includes employee benefits!
Pay Rate: $37.00 - $41.50/hr. DOE.

Location: Vancouver, WA.
Key Responsibilities for Program Support Specialist:
- Review and reconcile hundreds of payment statements monthly to ensure compliance with policy and regulations.
- Identify questionable or potentially improper purchases and escalate as appropriate.
- Maintain secure records and assist with archival processes.
- Research and assess flagged transactions, communicating with program participants to resolve discrepancies.
- Run and verify reports in internal financial systems to support audits and reporting.
- Serve as a first point of contact for program-related inquiries via email and phone.
- Maintain participant accounts, permissions, and program data in enterprise systems.
- Track onboarding, training, and compliance requirements for program participants.
- Coordinate and facilitate training sessions, including scheduling, materials preparation, and tracking completion.
- Draft, update, and maintain program documentation, reports, presentations, and reference materials.
- Assist with internal process improvements, policy research, and development of guides or templates.
- Support year-end and periodic program closeout activities, including reporting and recordkeeping.
- Aid in maintaining internal knowledge platforms, ensuring content is accurate, up-to-date, and approved.
- Provide mentorship or guidance to junior or temporary staff as needed.
- Attend and assist with meetings, taking notes, preparing materials, and supporting follow-up actions.
Requirements for Program Support Specialist:
- Bachelor’s: 5 years of relevant experience | Associate’s: 7 years | No degree: 9 years
- Experience in program/project coordination or control, with progressive technical responsibilities.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency with MS SharePoint or similar platforms (Google Drive, Slack) and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- At least 1 year of experience communicating with diverse stakeholders.
- Preferred: ability to translate technical information for non-technical audiences; experience with compliance, reporting, or purchase card programs.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license.
