Pharmacy Analyst – Clinical Review Specialist (REMOTE)
Motus is partnering with a leading healthcare provider to identify an experienced Pharmacy Analyst – Clinical Review Specialist for a contract opportunity. This is an exciting chance to join a large-scale enterprise environment supporting complex, cross-functional initiatives. The Pharmacy Analyst – Clinical Review Specialist utilizes knowledge of drugs and pharmaceuticals to conduct post service audits to ensure accuracy of billed charges.
Contract Duration: 6 Months
Work Model: 100% Remote (Must reside within TX, OR, WA, ID, or UT)
Hourly Pay: $27.25

Schedule:
- Must be able to work PST hours.
- May require availability for evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
Responsibilities of a Pharmacy Analyst – Clinical Review Specialist:
- Prioritizes workload, establishes goals, and coordinates daily activities to ensure timely completion of record reviews and support efficient audit execution aligned with team workflows.
- Leverages subject matter expertise to analyze billing records, ensuring charges align with medical documentation, pharmaceutical guidelines, and reimbursement policies; identifies gaps and proactively requests additional information as needed.
- Critic thinking applies to evaluating and interpreting clinical and billing data, including drug administration and treatment-related information, to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Adheres to strict regulatory and corporate standards, maintaining accuracy, timeliness, and quality while ensuring compliance with federal, state, BCBSA, and accreditation requirements.
- Maintains organized and accessible reference materials, including policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines, to support consistent and compliant work execution.
- Demonstrates strong accountability and follow-through, consistently meeting or exceeding production and quality benchmarks.
- Enhances team efficiency through flexibility and cross-functional support, actively participating in cross-training and contributing to broader departmental needs.
- Supports special projects and initiatives as assigned, contributing to continuous improvement and operational effectiveness.
Qualifications of a Pharmacy Analyst – Clinical Review Specialist:
- LPN or Licensed Pharmacy Technician required.
- 5+ years of relevant experience, including 2+ years in hospital or residential care and 3+ years in health insurance claims.
- Strong expertise in claims review and billing, with in-depth pharmaceutical knowledge to identify incorrect, investigational, and off-label charges.
- Proficient in healthcare documentation and communication, with strong written and verbal skills.
- Demonstrates initiative and problem-solving, consistently meeting productivity and quality standards with minimal supervision.
- Proficient in MS Office and general computer applications, with experience leveraging AI tools to improve efficiency and decision-making.
