Our client, a leading Pacific Northwest utility provider committed to public service and environmental stewardship, is seeking a Business Analyst for their Vancouver, Washington location. In this role, you will support the Fleet team by providing analytical and operational support for asset management, capital procurement, and process improvement initiatives. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining documentation, analyzing data, supporting budgeting activities, and partnering with internal teams to streamline processes and support strategic fleet operations.

Key Responsibilities for Business Analyst:
- Support Fleet operations by gathering and analyzing information to document current and future state processes, identify gaps, and recommend process improvements.
- Assist with asset management and financial activities, including reporting on fleet inventory, expenses, and program deliverables.
- Partner with stakeholders to develop and refine processes, procedures, and documentation supporting fleet operations and long-term asset planning.
- Conduct basic financial analysis and provide recommendations to support budgeting, capital planning, and operational decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Asset Management, and Operations) to coordinate reporting, resolve issues, and improve processes.
- Prepare, organize, and maintain clear, accurate documentation including policies, procedures, and reports.
- Monitor program activities and data accuracy, identifying issues and recommending corrective actions as needed.
- Support ongoing process improvement initiatives by analyzing workflows, improving data structures, and enhancing reporting methods.
- Maintain organized records, files, and documentation to support compliance and operational efficiency.
- A degree in Business Administration, Management, Accounting, Computer Science or closely related technical field is preferred.
- With an applicable Bachelor degree, 5 years of experience is required
- With an applicable Associate degree, 7+ years of experience is required
- Without an applicable degree, 9+ years of experience is required
- Experience should be consistent with the specific requirements of business analysis and progressively more technical in nature.
- Advanced skills/experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
- Ability to perform research and gather information in a given field sufficient to write technical documents
- Experience with business process documentation and management.
