Senior Enterprise Project Manager
Our client, a leading healthcare organization dedicated to improving member and provider experiences, is seeking a Senior Enterprise Project Manager to support a major multi-state integration initiative. This role will serve as the lead Project Manager for the Finance Tower of a large-scale organizational integration effort, overseeing multiple concurrent projects and coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure successful program delivery.
The Senior Enterprise Project Manager will work closely with senior leadership, finance partners, and cross-functional teams to identify risks, align stakeholders, and guide large, complex initiatives through completion. This role requires a strategic leader who can quickly step into an active program environment, assess challenges, and bring structure, clarity, and direction to highly visible enterprise initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in a large enterprise transformation effort while partnering with executives and program leaders across a highly collaborative organization.
Type: Contract – 12-months
Pay Range: $70.00 – 85.00/hr., DOE
Location: Remote – Prefer candidates located in OR, WA, ID, or UT

- Occasional travel may be required (potential travel between Portland, OR and Fargo, ND)
Responsibilities of the Senior Enterprise Project Manager:
- Lead the delivery of a large enterprise program supporting a multi-state integration initiative, ensuring successful coordination of multiple concurrent projects.
- Oversee planning, execution, and delivery of program activities including task definition, milestone tracking, cost management, and risk mitigation.
- Partner closely with Finance leadership and cross-functional teams to align program goals with business objectives and operational priorities.
- Identify program risks early and facilitate discussions with stakeholders to develop mitigation and contingency plans.
- Coordinate inter-project dependencies and ensure alignment across project teams working within the broader program structure.
- Monitor program progress through metrics, reporting, and milestone tracking to ensure delivery timelines and quality expectations are met.
- Communicate program strategy, updates, risks, and outcomes to executive leadership and key stakeholders.
- Support issue resolution and decision-making across program teams by facilitating conversations and guiding stakeholders toward actionable solutions.
- Foster strong relationships across business, technology, and operational teams to support collaboration in a highly matrixed organization.
Qualifications of the Senior Enterprise Project Manager:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Project Management, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 10+ years of progressive program or project management experience, including leadership roles overseeing large enterprise initiatives.
- Demonstrated experience managing large, complex programs with multiple concurrent projects, large budgets, and cross-functional teams.
- Proven ability to identify and mitigate program risks while facilitating productive discussions with executive and business leaders.
- Experience working within matrixed organizations and collaborating with multiple business functions including finance, operations, and technology.
- Strong knowledge of project and program management methodologies including Waterfall (PMBOK), Agile, or hybrid delivery models.
- Experience using tools such as Smartsheet, SharePoint, and the Microsoft Office Suite for program planning, tracking, and reporting.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and facilitation skills.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and guide complex initiatives toward successful outcomes.
- Professional certifications such as PMP, PgMP, PMO-RMP, or SAFe.
- Experience working within healthcare, insurance, finance, or large enterprise environments.
- Exposure to mergers, acquisitions, or large organizational integrations.
