UKG HRIS ANALYST (Hybrid)
Our client, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to transform workplaces and communities by championing disability inclusion, is seeking a UKG HRIS ANALYST for their Portland, OR location. In this role, you will support and evolve the organization’s UKG Ready and UKG Pro environments as part of a broader enterprise transformation program. This role is urgent for the client, and they need someone that's a Subject Matter Expert and has in-depth knowledge of UKG Ready. This position encompasses UKG System Configuration & Maintenance, Payroll & Time Support, Data Integrity & Reconciliation, Issue Resolution & Support, Reporting & Data Support, Integration Support, and Continuous Improvement. Success indicators for this role will include payroll and time data are accurate and require minimal correction, issues are resolved quickly with clear root cause identified, data between UKG and downstream systems ties out consistently, users are supported effectively without recurring issues, and system improvements reduce manual work over time.

Key Responsibilities for UKG HRIS ANALYST:
- Configure and maintain UKG modules (Core HR, Payroll, Time & Labor, Benefits as applicable)
- Support setup and updates for: Earnings and deduction codes; Pay groups and payroll cycles; AND Timekeeping rules and accruals
- Ensure system configurations align with business and payroll requirements
- Support payroll processing by validating: Time data accuracy; Earnings/deductions setup; AND Payroll outputs prior to finalization
- Troubleshoot payroll-related issues and discrepancies
- Assist in resolving payroll errors and adjustments
- Perform regular audits of HR and payroll data
- Identify and resolve discrepancies across: UKG modules AND Upstream/downstream systems
- Support reconciliation of HR/payroll data with Finance as needed
- Investigate and resolve UKG-related issues (data, configuration, user errors)
- Manage and prioritize support tickets
- Provide timely resolution and clear communication to stakeholders
- Build and maintain standard and ad hoc reports
- Support HR, Payroll, and leadership with accurate data outputs
- Ensure reporting aligns with compliance and operational needs
- Support data interfaces between UKG and other systems (e.g., ERP, benefits providers)
- Assist in validating inbound/outbound data files, EDI Feeds
- Help troubleshoot integration failures and data mismatches
- Identify opportunities to improve system usage and reduce manual work
- Support system enhancements, upgrades, and process improvements
- Participate in testing for system changes and releases
Qualifications for UKG HRIS ANALYST:
- 4–6+ years of hands-on HRIS experience
- Strong experience with UKG Ready (required)
- Experience supporting: Payroll processing AND Time & Labor systems
- Proven ability to troubleshoot system and data issues independently
- Strong understanding of: Payroll concepts (earnings, deductions, taxes) AND Timekeeping and accrual logic
- Data analysis and problem-solving skills
- Experience working with system data, audits, and reconciliation
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
- Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical users
