Project Manager 2 – Supply Chain
Our client, a leading Pacific Northwest utility provider committed to public service and environmental stewardship, is seeking a Project Manager for their Vancouver, Washington location. In this role, you will partner with supply chain and logistics leadership to support strategic initiatives, process improvements, and cross-organizational projects. Responsibilities include supporting supply chain strategy development, coordinating projects that improve logistics operations, analyzing data and industry trends, and helping implement programs, systems, and processes that drive operational efficiency and cost-effective solutions.

Pay Range: $55.00 – 59.25/hr., DOE

Key Responsibilities for Project Manager 2:
- Support supply chain and logistics initiatives by coordinating projects, facilitating collaboration across teams, and assisting leadership with strategic process improvements.
- Assist with project planning activities including defining scope, drafting project plans, coordinating resources, and supporting project roadmaps and timelines.
- Facilitate meetings, requirements gathering sessions, and working groups to align stakeholders and advance project objectives.
- Monitor project progress, track milestones and deliverables, and communicate status updates to sponsors and stakeholders.
- Identify project risks, issues, and dependencies, and recommend mitigation strategies to help maintain project timelines and outcomes.
- Support change management and training efforts associated with process improvements and organizational initiatives.
- Conduct gap analysis and business process reviews to support improved supply chain operations and asset management practices.
- Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders to support system, process, and operational improvements.
- Assist with development of performance metrics and reporting tools to monitor project progress and operational effectiveness.
- Maintain project documentation, records, and reporting materials in accordance with organizational information governance and security standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, finance, facilities, and operations to support project execution and implementation.
- Capture lessons learned and provide recommendations for continuous improvement across projects and programs.
- A degree in business administration or management, organizational development, computer science, or engineering is highly preferred.
- 5 years of experience is required with an applicable bachelor’s degree.
- 7 years of experience is required with an applicable associate degree.
- 10 years of experience is required without a degree or applicable degree
- Experience managing medium-sized projects or contributing to large, complex projects, including initiatives with lifecycle costs up to $25M.
- MS Project skill including project management features such as: experience with the fundamental operation, function, and workflow of Microsoft Project regarding timelines, dependencies, project expectations, milestones, and resources.
- Previous portfolio management experience in an asset intensive industry.
- Intermediate level proficiency with Visio, Access and SharePoint.
- Proficiency required with Microsoft Office Suite software such as MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
- PMI or PMP certification is preferred.
- Change Management certification is preferred.
- Energy and/or utility industry experience is preferred.
- Asset Management experience is preferred.
- Experience with ISO 55000 is preferred.
