Senior Project Manager – Business Transformation
Our client, a leading Pacific Northwest utility provider committed to public service and environmental stewardship, is seeking a Senior Project Manager for their Vancouver, Washington location. In this role, you will support enterprise-level strategic initiatives focused on business transformation and operational improvement. Responsibilities include partnering with leadership and key stakeholders to develop and implement strategic roadmaps, manage cross-functional initiatives, and drive improvements to core business processes that support critical infrastructure operations.

Pay Range: $68.00 – 73.25/hr., DOE
Location: Vancouver, Washington – HYBRID (3-days per 2-week period)

Key Responsibilities for Senior Project Manager:
- Lead and coordinate strategic business transformation initiatives, supporting leadership in planning and executing projects that improve core operational processes.
- Develop project plans, roadmaps, and resource strategies to guide complex initiatives from concept through implementation.
- Partner with executives, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to gather business requirements, define project scope, and align strategic objectives.
- Facilitate project meetings, working sessions, and stakeholder discussions to drive collaboration and decision-making.
- Monitor project progress, milestones, and deliverables while proactively identifying risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans to address project risks and ensure successful outcomes.
- Conduct gap analysis and process reviews to identify opportunities for operational improvements and business transformation.
- Coordinate across multiple teams and initiatives to ensure alignment with broader organizational strategies and enterprise programs.
- Communicate project status, insights, and recommendations to leadership through regular reports and presentations.
- Support organizational change initiatives by helping define new processes, roles, and adoption strategies.
- Capture lessons learned and provide recommendations to improve future project delivery and program outcomes.
- Maintain project documentation, communication materials, and governance artifacts in accordance with organizational standards.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Management, Organizational Development, Computer Science or a closely-related field is preferred.
- 10 years of experience is required with an applicable Bachelor’s degree.
- 12 years of experience is required with a non-applicable Bachelor’s degree.
- 14 years of experience is required without a Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience managing medium-to-large-sized projects (25M and higher lifecycle cost) is required.
- Experience with Access, Visio, MS Project, SharePoint is required.
- Preferred Skills & Experience (optional on matrix)
- PMI or PMP certification
