Our client, a leading Pacific Northwest utility provider committed to public service and environmental stewardship, is seeking a Project Coordinator for their Vancouver, Washington location. In this role, you will provide project coordination support across infrastructure initiatives focused on maintaining, improving, and supporting critical operational assets. Responsibilities include assisting project managers and program teams with project tracking, lifecycle coordination, documentation, reporting, scheduling, and cross-functional communication to help ensure successful project execution and delivery.

Pay Range: $38.00 – 40.50/hr., DOE
Location: Vancouver, Washington – HYBRID (3-days per week onsite)

Key Responsibilities for Project Coordinator 2:
- Support Project Managers, Program Managers, and Asset Managers with coordination of infrastructure projects throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate project activities, timelines, milestones, deliverables, and action items to help ensure projects remain on schedule and aligned with objectives.
- Assist with project planning activities including scope documentation, project plans, schedules, resource coordination, and process requirements.
- Develop, maintain, and update project schedules using Microsoft Project, including timelines, dependencies, milestones, critical paths, and resource-loaded schedules.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks or schedule impacts, and communicate updates, concerns, and recommendations to project teams and stakeholders.
- Facilitate project meetings including scheduling, preparing agendas, documenting meeting notes, tracking decisions, and following up on action items.
- Maintain project documentation, records, reports, workspaces, and project files in accordance with established processes and compliance requirements.
- Coordinate project resources, materials, site visits, logistics, and cross-functional communication between internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Prepare project reports, spreadsheets, presentations, visual aids, and status updates to support leadership and project team decision-making.
- Support project closeout activities including lessons learned documentation, knowledge transfer, and project transition coordination.
- Collaborate with technical teams to support project design documentation, statements of work, project requirements, and implementation planning.
- Assist with process improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to improve project workflows, reporting, scheduling, and coordination practices.
- Provide support with business cases, project tracking tools, and portfolio coordination activities.
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration or management, organizational development, computer science, or other related technical discipline is preferred.
- 5 years of experience is required with an applicable bachelor’s degree.
- 7 years of experience is required with a bachelor’s degree not in applicable fields.
- 9 years of experience is required without a degree.
- Experience should include direct work experience in project coordination/ control capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution. Must be capable of applying a diversified knowledge of principles and practices in assigned technical areas.
- Demonstrated proficiency using MS Project or similar program (i.e. Primavera) to create, analyze, and manipulate project schedules.
- Demonstrated experience using SharePoint or a similar system to maintain and create project sites for use and storage of project documents and content.
- Ability to analyze, understand, and effectively document technical data.
- Ability to store, manipulate, and organize large numbers of files and folders using Microsoft Windows networks or other document management programs.
- Experience in the electric utility industry data is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings is preferred.
