Strategic Finance Analyst (Healthcare)

Contract Duration: 9 Months
Location: Remote – Must Reside in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Utah, or North Dakota
Pay Range: $34.00 - $37.00/hr. DOE.

Additional Details:
- Must be comfortable supporting teams across Pacific and Central Time Zones.
- Occasional travel (local or out-of-state) may be required.

Responsibilities of the Strategic Finance Analyst (Healthcare):
- Analyze capital projects and strategic initiatives, providing financial guidance from proposal through benefit realization.
- Develop business cases, ROI analyses, NPV models, cost-benefit analyses, and financial forecasts.
- Partner with project sponsors and project managers throughout the capital investment lifecycle, ensuring business cases, financial assumptions, and project plans remain aligned.
- Partner with project managers and business leaders to evaluate project performance and financial impact.
- Prepare and present financial analyses, recommendations, and business case findings to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Support ad hoc financial projects, operational initiatives, and process improvements.
- Assist with financial reporting, modeling, and decision-support activities across the organization.
- Manage and prioritize multiple capital and strategic initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications of the Strategic Finance Analyst (Healthcare):
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Statistics, or a related field.
- 6+ years of progressive finance, actuarial, accounting, FP&A, or business analysis experience.
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
- Experience developing business cases, ROI, NPV, budgeting, and forecasting analyses.
- Strong analytical, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with all levels of the workforce.
- Demonstrated ability to plan and organize own work, projects, and the work of others in the department, with minimal supervision.
- Proven ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams and leadership.
- Healthcare industry experience and CPA, CMA, MBA, or similar credentials are preferred.
