Realty Technician – Property Management
Our client, a leading Pacific Northwest utility provider committed to public service and environmental stewardship, is looking for a Realty Technician for their Redmond, Oregon location. In this role, you will provide property management and real estate support for utility infrastructure projects, assisting with property acquisition, rights-of-way, encroachments, landowner requests, and related project coordination. This position offers a mix of approximately 50% office and 50% field work and includes travel throughout the Pacific Northwest and surrounding service territory to support Realty Specialists and regional project needs.

Pay Range: $30.00 – 33.00
Location: Redmond, Oregon – Hybrid, with a minimum of 1 and up to 5 days onsite per week, depending on business needs.

Key Responsibilities for Realty Technician:
- Support real estate and property management activities involving land use, rights-of-way, encroachments, property acquisition, and landowner requests.
- Open, maintain, track, and prepare realty case files for closing, ensuring property and case information is accurately entered into the Land Information System (LIS).
- Track permit applications, encroachments, landowner requests, and case status while maintaining accurate case logs and records.
- Respond to general real estate and right-of-way questions from landowners, developers, public agencies, utility companies, and other stakeholders, escalating complex matters as appropriate.
- Conduct property research by reviewing acquisition, title, and property management documents to determine existing property rights and document findings.
- Draft preliminary title review documentation and other real estate materials for review and completion by Realty Specialists.
- Support property acquisition activities through research, document review, data entry, and preparation of supporting documentation.
- Conduct field visits to properties to take measurements, photographs, and other documentation related to property management issues or damages.
- Process application fees and maintain accurate documentation associated with real estate and land use activities.
- Provide administrative support, including preparing correspondence and reports, assembling documents, coordinating meetings and calendars, and maintaining organized records and files.
Requirements/Qualification for Realty Technician:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in property management, real estate, title review, or a related field.
- Coursework or professional experience demonstrating knowledge of real estate principles, practices, and government real property procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Professional knowledge of Real Property Services principles and practices, including areas such as real property field services, realty support, geospatial services, surveying and mapping, or project coordination involving these functions.
- Working knowledge of real estate and title documents, including Warranty Deeds, Deeds of Trust, Mortgages, Quit Claim Deeds, Liens, property title reports, and assessor/treasurer property records.
- Ability to research, interpret, and work with property records and other real estate documentation.
