Asset Management Analyst
Our client, a leading Pacific Northwest utility company, is looking for an Asset Management Analyst for their Tualatin, Oregon location. In this role, you will play a key part in managing projects, monitoring deals, and interpreting contract language to ensure smooth deal flow. Your day-to-day activities will include facilitating and leading project meetings from start to finish, developing efficient processes, and creating process flows to optimize operations. Pay Range: $45.00 – $50.00/HR, DOE.
Location: Hybrid in Tualatin, OR – 2 days (Mon and Friday remote) 3 days (Tues, Wed and Thurs in office).
Contract Duration: 6+ Months (Benefits Eligible)
Key Responsibilities for Asset Management Analyst:
- Specialization: Focuses on project management or research and analysis, with the ability to work in both areas as needed.
- Support Middle Office Operations, Structuring/Origination, Power Operations, and Risk Management teams.Interpret and operationalize contract details to ensure smooth deal flow and compliance.
- Oversee the integration and mapping of new contracts into operational systems.
- Track and monitor transactions to align with contract terms and resolve discrepancies.
- Enhance operational workflows and documentation for efficiency and accuracy.
- Address contract-related issues and collaborate with teams for effective solutions.
- Planning and Strategy:
- Provides data and analytics to support company strategy development.
- Recommends strategy adjustments in response to business environment changes.
- Contributes to enterprise-wide metrics, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Prioritizes resource strategy projects, balancing time, scope, and budget.
- Research and Analysis:
- Collaborates with business, regional, and industry contacts to gather data and analyze information for resource strategy development.
- Utilizes scenarios, models, and simulations to support strategy and integration.
- Examines data, develops hypotheses, and provides actionable recommendations.
- Prepares detailed reports.
- Project Management:
- Leads moderately complex projects in alignment with the overall resource strategy.
- Defines scope, budget, deliverables, and acceptance criteria.
- Develops and implements project plans, assigning tasks and collaborating with stakeholders.
- Monitors progress, ensures deliverables meet criteria, and adjusts plans as needed.
- Identifies risks and recommends mitigation strategies.
- Requirements and Compliance: Ensures all processes and deliverables comply with regulatory requirements and guidelines.
- Process Management:
- Enhances processes to better balance tradeoffs among supply, demand, energy, and capacity options.
- Documents and updates written procedures for continuous improvement.
Requirements/Qualifications for Asset Management Analyst:
- 2-3 years of project management/research and analysis experience required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
- Proficiency in data analysis and metric interpretation required.
- Experience in asset management preferred.
- Background in accounting preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Management, Accounting, or a related field, OR equivalent work experience in asset management or portfolio management.
- Project Management certification preferred.
- Experience with the following systems preferred: Oracle ERP, Coupa, Endur, and other tools such as MS suites, Visio, Smartsheet, Jira
