Data Scientist (Remote)
Our client, a premier global media and entertainment company, is looking for a Data Scientist. The Data Scientist will conduct comprehensive analyses of the employee lifecycle by integrating data from various sources. This role involves regularly updating and enhancing dashboards and providing reports. This individual will be collaborating with multiple teams including Talent Acquisition, Employee Engagement, Talent Insights and other teams. This Data Scientist will ensure insights are actionable and relevant. They will also present findings and strategic recommendations to business partners and senior leadership.

Responsibilities for Data Scientist:
- Analyze and model workforce data; apply expertise in quantitative analysis to inform beyond the numbers and help influence business decisions for P&C Business Partners, Finance, Inclusion and Diversity, and others in the organization.
- Work with stakeholders throughout the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging data to develop scalable products and solutions that help our internal P&C clients better understand their talent and navigate workforce challenges.
- Partner with internal team to identify areas for improvement for data quality, process efficiencies/effectiveness, etc., and work with internal teams to automate or streamline data entry/collection processes to ensure the highest data integrity.
- Perform data exploration, cleaning, and wrangling to understand available data and produce actionable insights.
- Build predictive and machine learning models, algorithms, statistical tests, dashboards, and reports, assist with presentations, and visual aids used to facilitate the decisions and create KPIs for new features of P&C and Finance clients and business leaders.
- Integrate structured and unstructured data from multiple systems efficiently and develop analytics on headcount, workforce cost, time tracking, absence, recruiting etc. to help business better manage their workforce resource.
- Assist developing reports in Workday and other BI tools to analyze data, perform trend analysis and identify data discrepancies.
Requirements/Qualifications for Data Scientist:
- Minimum 3 years of Experience in advanced data mining techniques and tools such as R and Python, and familiar with manipulating large-scale structured and unstructured data.
- Minimum 2 years of experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Experience in transforming goals/requests into visual story to help end users identify areas of strength and opportunities for improvement.
- Expertise in analytics, including advanced statistical analysis, data modeling, and insightful data interpretation.
- Utilize discretion and judgement to maintain confidentiality of sensitive data.
