Business Analyst 3 (HYBRID)
Our client, a leading Pacific Northwest utility provider committed to public service and environmental preservation, is looking for a Business Analyst for their Vancouver, Washington location. This Business Analyst will provide high-level support for business transformation, operational excellence, and organizational change initiatives. The role will partner cross-functionally with business and technical teams to support strategic projects, process improvement, portfolio and project management, change management, and program evaluation. The ideal candidate will help drive consistent, measurable outcomes while improving operational effectiveness, resource utilization, and successful implementation of organizational initiatives.
This position is a one-year renewable contract that includes employee benefits!
Pay Rate: $59.00 – $63.00/hr. DOE
Location: Vancouver, WA.
Hybrid: 1 day onsite per week.
Key Responsibilities for Business Analyst:
- Partner with business, technical, project, and leadership teams to assess needs, develop recommendations, and support organizational change.
- Develop and implement change strategies, communications, training, stakeholder engagement, and adoption plans.
- Assess change readiness, impacts, risks, and effectiveness; recommend mitigation and continuous improvements.
- Gather and analyze business requirements; document current/future states, evaluate solutions, and recommend process improvements.
- Conduct stakeholder interviews and research to identify business needs, operational challenges, and opportunities.
- Support business cases, strategic initiatives, risk assessments, financial planning, and decision-making.
- Analyze organizational structures, processes, systems, and controls to improve efficiency, resource utilization, and effectiveness.
- Coordinate project milestones, deliverables, communications, change activities, training materials, and supporting documentation.
- Develop and maintain change management tools, templates, processes, and documentation supporting consistency, training, and knowledge transfer.
- Establish performance measures and evaluation criteria; use trends, feedback, and lessons learned to recommend improvements.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and communicate project status, risks, issues, and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership.
- Support transition planning, organizational readiness, and successful implementation of business and operational initiatives.
Requirements for Business Analyst:
- BA in Business Administration, Business Management, Accounting, Computer Science, Organizational Development, or related field preferred.

8 years with a Bachelor’s; 10 years with an Associate’s; 12 years without a degree.

- Direct experience applying business analysis and change management principles, methodologies, analytics, and transition strategies.

Experience leading and supporting Change Management programs and organizational initiatives.

Experience with project/change management methodologies, tools, and project lifecycle phases.

Experience supporting large-scale organizational change.

Intermediate proficiency with Visio, MS Project, Access, and SharePoint.
